Happy days are here again, yep it’s that time of year when the Scottish First minister Woodlice Salmond,  hibernates for yet another year. Good bloody riddance.  The fat bastard had virtually crippled the Scottish Economy by doing a big fat NOTHING when UNITE fell foul of the  Ineus decision to close the petro chemical site at Grangemouth in the heart of the Scottish central belt  on the river Forth between Falkirk and Edinburgh.

Stop press AS—I’M — WRITING—- GRANGEMOUTH—- Re-OPENS—- IN–A–LAST–DITCH—CONCESSION–FROM–UNITE. Happy days, there will be turkey @ christmas! (Alex Salmond breathes a sigh of relief! … THE OTHER FUCKING TURKEY !!! )

That can only mean one thing! As the doormouse hibernate the bears come out to play and yes, I’m  talking  about our National hunt treasures!

ITS …..JUMPING TIME !!!! A wee in this weekend involves the son of the late, great Ginger….McCain @ Scoseville….   that’s Aintree to the rest of the un initiated! So as we count down the days to Chrimbo and our annual payday (if you follow the selections on this micro blog! lol) BOXING day. Well a wee set back this week in that Simonsig (who we backed and was nibbled @ in the market) looks sure to miss the mid season spectacular The King George Chase)  due to a set back in training. This still leaves us in a very healthy position with Dynaste also nibbled at in to 6’s from 8’s and the daddy …, Sir Des Champs @ 16/1 win and E/w!

So It’s Aintree the morn, a good auld stompin ground fi the McCains… well It’ll be the turn of Donald the morn in the 15.05 as no #4 WALK ON does the business for punters up and down the country with the magic sign eager to get him (Laddrokes @4/1, Hills and BetFred go 9/2 but tellingly, the Irish punts (or Euros) are down and Paddy Power only go 7/2 !

This is a wee taster of things to come as we rustle thru our draws looking for the auld hand warmers to stick inside our knitted mitts as the nights draw in and the temperature rises on yet another scintillating jumping season!Image
